NEWS - NEWS - NEWS

Hello again. As 2009 approaches, a couple of items emerge from the inky blackness of Calculus Affair central. They appear enumerated below.

  1. We are hard at work in the studio on our first major release, tentatively titled, The Fellows are Opening for Jon and Ken. God willing and the creek don't rise (and/or the creek is in a valley, or adequate levees have been built beforehand), we'll release it sometime in the early spring of 2009. If you happen by our MySpace page, you might just find a preview of coming attractions available for streaming in the player.

  2. We are being assisted in this task by our long-time friend, enormously talented musician, audio engineer, and all-around good guy Gino Scarpino. He is teaching us everything there is to know about music production. It has been a totally rad experience so far.

  3. Also, this album is going to TOTALLY AWESOMELY ROCK. You should completely buy it when it comes out.

  4. I have to say, by far the most underrated of all HTML tags is the <ol> (or "ordered list") tag. It totally relieves you of the burden of actually typing numbers and pressing return.

  5. We've also been working on a track for Burning Sky Records' upcoming tribute to Roxy Music. We appeared on their Posies tribute last spring, and are hopeful that our cover of "2HB" will make it onto the album. Stay tuned.

Thanks for your devoted fandom. Further updates as events warrant.

Love, TCA
